The CII Course is run in two phases: a residential 14 week course for Master Trainers and Planners of inclusive services in the community in the Asia Pacific Region and a three months of implementation phase for context specific action plans in their respective regions.
This 3 month course aims to train teachers and community workers in inclusive early intervention practices in order to provide early interventions in all programmes, minimizing potential developmental delays as evidence suggests that the earlier the onset of intervention, the greater likelihood of an improved development.
We conduct training programmes which offer a Model Code of Practice towards creating an inclusive work environment and provide insights into existing policies. The sessions focus on the current orthodoxy of the social model of disability and the importance of diversity.
